Mercedes-Benz India in September extends prices rise plan by 1-1.5%

Mercedes Benz India has planned to increase the impact of weak rupee against the Euro by 1-1.5 percent since September.

The Luxury Car Market Leader has already raised vehicles prices twice this year, first in January and then in July.

“Another price is increasing in September due to the euro.

The price hike is expected to be 1-1.5 per cent, he said.

Asked if the sale of prices could affect the sale, Ier said that the monthly outgoing in the same monthly installment (EMIS) was being balanced for buyers due to interest rates.

He noted that around Cent Cent Class Car sales are provided to the company.

The buyers have realized that the prices are outside the control of the company, considering the currency fluctuations, he said.

Asked if a rare earth’s magnet is facing the company’s problem, Iyer said: “If we look at the supply chain, we are relevant, but we have not been affected by any of these topics, because we are managing it well. We have enough stocks to us, so we are able to navigate and manage it.”

“I think our colleagues in Statter (Germany) have managed this well, so we have no problem there.”

Ire noted that the company’s growth could be flat this year due to current geographical issues and other challenges.

He said that the overall passenger vehicle market is increasing by 4-2-3 percent, but the luxury car department has increased by about 6 to 6 percent this year.

“Of course, one would like the higher growth rate, but if you think about what is geographically politically happening worldwide, I think that growth in the automotive industry is a positive sign,” said Ayer.

He said, “We all have to realize that the average sales cost of sales in favor of luxury and luxury is increasing due to the fluctuations in the currency,” he added.
